Norma I. Castro passed away peacefully in her home and surrounded by family on the early morning of January 16, 2021.
Norma was a woman full of life, with a heart of gold. She loved her family more than anything, and instilled love into every person she met.
When Norma was returned to the Lord, she was welcomed into the heavens by her late daughter, Hilda “China” Alers, mother Olga Cruz, father Robert Castro Sr., and late brother Robert Castro Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Eduardo “Eddie” Morales, as well as her children; daughters, Brenda Alers and Shareen Morales, and only son Sunset Morales Sr.
Norma’s memory will forever be lived on within her 6 granddaughters; Norma Alers, Kathleen Harper, Crystal Walker, Gloria Morales, Neveah Morales, and Audriana Morales. Alongside her 5 grandsons; William Harper, Robert Alers, David Walker, Tyrese Morales, and Sunset Morales Jr.
Norma is also survived by her sister Anna Valentin-Viera and brother Luis Valentin. She also leaves 12 great-grandchildren as well as countless nieces and nephews.
Norma’s smile lit up a room and her laugh was contagious. She genuinely cared for those she loved, and her love was true and pure. Although she is no longer with us physically, her spirit will always be by our sides. She will forever be dearly missed by all who knew her.
